Floral Tribute Paid to Statues of Kim Il Sung

Pyongyang, April 15 (KCNA) -- Floral baskets were laid before the statues of President Kim Il Sung across the country on the occasion of the Day of the Sun.
Servicepersons, working people from all walks of life and school youth and children in Pyongyang visited the statue of the President on Mansu Hill.
Standing before the statue of Kim Il Sung was a floral basket sent by General Secretary Kim Jong Il.
Floral baskets and bouquets were placed before his statue in the name of the party, armed forces and power organs, public organizations, ministries and national institutions and KPA units, institutions of science, education, culture and art, public health and media, industrial establishments, farms and schools.
Also put in front of the statue were floral baskets in the name of the Pyongyang Mission of the Anti-Imperialist National Democratic Front and overseas compatriots.
Floral baskets and bouquets were also laid before the statues of Kim Il Sung at Kim Il Sung University, Kim Il Sung Military University, the Ministry of People's Security, the Pyongyang Schoolchildren's Palace and other places of the city and in different places of the country.


Today is a glorious day to revere the Great Leader, Generalissimo and Eternal President of the powerful Korean socialist nation.
