Pyongyang, July 8 (KCNA) -- A stream of Korean people and foreign guests are visiting the International Friendship Exhibition on the occasion of the 13th death anniversary of President Kim Il Sung.On display there are in the Hall of Immortality in the exhibition precious gifts presented to him by foreign public figures and overseas Koreans from Juche 83 (1994).
Among them are "Chair for Tribe Chief " and "Costume for Tribe Chief" sent to him by a king of a Nigerian tribe on the occasion of the President's birthday (April 15) in 1995, wooden craftwork "Cart" by a foreign minister of the Kingdom of Thailand, jewel craftwork "Tree of Hope" by the president of Women's International Democratic Federation and "Flower Vase" by the director of the Italian Institute of International Relations. The gifts reflect the boundless reverence of the world people for the President who made an immortal contribution to the Korean revolution and the cause of global independence.
This year witnessed that presents came to the President from political parties, friendship and solidarity organizations, delegations and individual figures of various countries including the chairman of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Bangladesh, the Swiss Committee for Supporting the Independent and Peaceful Reunification of Korea, the Left Bloc of the Austrian Trade Union Federation and the delegation of the Vietnamese Newspaper "Nhan Dan".
After looking round the exhibits with deep interests, visitors say in an excited tone: The presents tell that President Kim Il Sung still live and will live long in the hearts of the humankind.
It is told that the presents amount to more than 165,970 pieces. It is great, indeed. The exhibits show how great President Kim Il Sung is.

20 Rumored Killed in N.Korea Building Collapse
Rumor has it that a seven-story apartment building in Hyesan, Yanggang Province in North Korea collapsed last Thursday, killing about 20 and seriously injuring dozens of others. South Korea’s National Intelligence Service said Monday it is checking the information. According to well-informed source, soldiers and residents arrived to the rescue of victims right after the collapse, collecting about 20 dead bodies and transporting dozens of other seriously injured people to hospitals. But fatalities are reportedly growing due to the lack of rescue equipment.
Some 42 families, including those of senior party members and business leaders, were housed in the collapsed building. As the accident occurred in the afternoon, most of the victims were apparently elderly people and children. Despite having being less than 10 years old, the building presumably collapsed due to shoddy construction.
